Like the Chiefs, the Seattle Seahawks also had to extend their wait. No, the Seahawks aren’t fighting for a division title, they are gunning for a playoff spot. Seattle was handed down a franchise record 148 penalty yards during their last game against San Francisco and that proved to be costly as the 49ers downed the Seahawks 26-23 in overtime at the Levi’s Stadium. Seattle can finally clinch a spot in the postseason with a win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
Russell Wilson has thrown for a total of 3,025 passing yards with 31 touchdowns and only six interceptions. Chris Carson leads Seattle with 913 yards on the ground and six rushing touchdowns. Tyler Lockett has 800 receiving yards with 9 touchdown passes caught while Doug Baldwin has caught for 465 yards with four touchdown receptions.

But if the Seahawks can force their ground game by pounding away and setting up their play action pass, then it is going to be a different scenario especially if the Chiefs aren’t able to move the ball.
